Ervaring en expertise

Ik heb ruime ervaring in het begeleiden van aanstaande en reeds gevorderde skileraren op weg naar hun droombaan als Skileraar. Drie seizoenen ervaring bij de grootste skischool in Obertauern en twee seizoenen bij SnowWorld Zoetermeer neem ik mee naar jouw begeleiding.

In Oostenrijk werk ik jaarlijks meer dan 75 nieuwe skileraren in voor CSA Skischule Silvia Grillitsch. Daarnaast ben ik actief voor de CSA Academy, de interne skileraar opleiding van de skischool, bij het organiseren, vormgeven en uitvoeren van het wekelijkse CSA Academy programma. CSA skischule Silvia Grillitsch telt in het hoogseizoen meer dan 120 ski- en snowboardleraren van alle niveaus en nationaliteiten. Ik ben belast met het begeleiden en trainen van deze skileraren gedurende het gehele seizoen.

Bij SnowWorld Zoetermeer verzorg ik privé- en groepslessen aan kinderen en volwassenen op alle ski niveaus.

Aanpak

Op basis van jouw skivaardigheden en de gewenste te volgen skileraar opleiding maken we een persoonlijk programma. Dit programma bereid je zo goed als mogelijk voor op een succesvolle deelname aan de door jou te volgen opleiding tot skileraar. Het programma richt zich op twee belangrijke elementen: eigen skivaardigheid en skischool skiën.

Programma en kosten

Ski Coaching is anders dan gewoon skiles. Tijdens de coaching sessie(s) wordt er naast de skitechnische verbeteringen ook aandacht besteed aan bewegingsleer en de verschillende manieren waarop deze twee samen didactisch verantwoord onderricht kunnen worden.

Een gemiddeld programma bestaat uit twee sessies van twee uur op dag één en een afsluitende evaluatie sessie van anderhalf uur op dag twee. Het programma vindt dus op verschillende dagen plaats in de skihal van SnowWorld Zoetermeer. Afhankelijk van de vooruitgang en behoefte kan er een hele of halve sessie bijgeboekt worden. Ski Coaching levert het beste resultaat op wanneer er na de eerste sessie van twee maal twee uur, zelfstandig in de skihal getraind wordt. Na deze trainingsperiode volgt dan de afsluitende evaluatie sessie. De Ski Coaching in de skihal levert het meeste resultaat op waneer dit in de ochtend op doordeweekse dagen plaatsvindt (‘s avonds en in het weekend is het vaak erg druk).

De weg naar een diploma skileraar

Er zijn verschillende aanbieders in Nederland die opleidingen en examens om skileraar te worden aanbieden. De meeste bewandelen de Oostenrijkse weg, simpelweg omdat het Oostenrijkse diploma toegankelijk is voor iedereen die redelijk kan skiën. De Franse of Italiaanse weg is ingewikkelder en over het algemeen langer. Zeker de landen die de Eurotest (reuzenslalom op tijd) als toelatingseis hebben tot de opleiding zijn lastiger te bewandelen. Natuurlijk kun je ook via de Nederlandse Skivereniging je diploma’s behalen maar uiteindelijk zit hier ook een Oostenrijks luchtje aan. Ik zet de verschillende aanbiedersneven op een rijtje.

Experience and expertise

I have extensive experience in guiding upcoming and advanced ski instructors on their way to their dream job as a ski a ski instructor. I bring three seasons of experience at the largest ski school in Obertauern and two seasons at SnowWorld Zoetermeer to your guidance.

In Austria I train more than 75 new ski instructors for CSA Skischule Silvia Grillitsch every year. In addition, I am active for the CSA Academy, the internal ski instructor training of the ski school, in organizing, designing and executing the weekly CSA Academy program. CSA ski school Silvia Grillitsch has more than 120 ski and snowboard instructors of all levels and nationalities during the high season. I am responsible for supervising and training these ski instructors throughout the season.

At SnowWorld Zoetermeer I provide private and group lessons to children and adults at all ski levels.

Approach

Based on your ski skills and the desired ski instructor training to follow, we create a personal program. This program prepares you as well as possible for a successful participation in your training as a ski instructor. The program focuses on two key elements: own skiing skills and ski school skiing.

Program and costs

Ski Coaching is different from ordinary ski lessons. During the coaching session(s), in addition to the technical improvements, attention is also paid to kinematics and the different ways in which these two can be taught together in a didactically sound manner.

An average program consists of two sessions of two hours and a final evaluation session of one and a half hours. The program takes place on different days in the ski hall of SnowWorld Zoetermeer. Depending on the progress, an aditional whole or half session can be booked. Ski Coaching produces the best results when you train independently in the ski hall after the first session of two times two hours. After this training period, the final evaluation session follows.

The road to a ski instructor diploma

There are several providers in the Netherlands that offer training and exams to become a ski instructor. Most follow the Austrian path, simply because the Austrian diploma is accessible to anyone who can ski reasonably well. The French or Italian road is more complicated and generally longer. Certainly the countries that have the Eurotest (giant slalom on time) as an admission requirement for the training are more difficult to navigate. Of course you can also obtain your diplomas through the Dutch Ski Association, but in the end there is also an Austrian air to it. I’ll list the different providers cousins.

Nederlandse Skivereniging offers courses that lead to a Dutch ski instructor diploma (which allows you to work for a ski school in both the Netherlands and Austria).
